The Department of Physics with B.Sc. MPC group was established in the year 1968, since the inception of the College with an intention to provide scientific temper, logical thinking and research orientation and to lay path to its students to grow sky as their limit. B.Sc. MPCs group was added to the department in 2009 with an objective to provide computer skills to the science students as per the interest and requirement of the society. The department has continuously been striving for excellence in teaching and research. Faculty members of the department are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated to motivate the students and make them compete with the present competitive scenario. The faculty members lay emphasis on inclusion of modern teaching technologies viz. LCDs, Digital class rooms, virtual class rooms, Models and Practical demonstration. The department has its own computer with 24x7 internet facility.
The Alumni of the physics Department occupied important positions of the society, as lecturers, teachers, Bank employees, Pharmacists, employees of Govt and private organizations, achieving the dreams and goals of their own and to the satisfaction of their parents and Institution.
